Introducing the Winners of ARCHITECT’s 2023 Residential Architect Design Awards

This year's jury recognized 10 projects across categories including affordable housing, adaptive reuse, outbuildings, and more.

For the 2023 Residential Architect Design Awards, jurors Benjamin Anderson, Maija Kreishman, and Tya Winn sifted through an impressive pool of 264 submissions, looking for housing innovators. Carefully weighing scale, purpose, and sustainability, the jurors ultimately selected a class of 10 winners—five honor award recipients, three merit award recipients, and two honorable mention recipients—that showcase how residential architecture at its best can support individuals, communities, and environments.
