Project Description

To meet the challenges of rapid growth, Forest Hills Baptist Church looked to HFR Design for master planning, architectural, and engineering services. The Forest Hills Student Center features classroom and youth space. Design solutions achieved by HFR include 3 large garage doors on each of the two assembly rooms, which allow expanded event space for the church. Above the garage doors, perforated metal panels were put in place to allow banners and other marketing and event materials to easily be displayed.
“The most rewarding challenge was to find a way to seamlessly blend traditional design elements of the existing church with modern youthful elements desired by a younger generation” says project designer Brenda Dean.
