The American Institute of Architects today released the winners of the 2016 Institute Honor Awards for Architecture. This year’s program recognized 11 projects—the same number as last year—across ten states as well as Hong Kong.
The jury included: chair Josiah Stevenson, FAIA, of Boston’s Leers Weinzapfel Associates; José Alvarez, AIA, of New Orlean’s Eskew+Dumez+Ripple; Brad Cloepfil, AIA, of Portland, Ore.–based Allied Works Architecture; Roberto de Leon, AIA, of Louisville, Ky.–based De Leon & Primmer Architecture Workshop; Julie Eizenberg, FAIA, of Santa Monica, Calif.–based Koning Eizenberg Architecture; Julie Engh, Assoc. AIA, of New York’s Highland Associates; Elizabeth Hallas, AIA, of Golden, Colo.–based Anderson Hallas Architects; Danielle Jones, AIAS Representative from Zelienople, Pa.; and Christian Zimmerman, of New York’s Prospect Park Alliance.
