Project Description
From the architects:
Hallmark House is one of the largest buildings on the East side of Johannesburg CBD. An icon of the Joburg city skyline, the 66-meter high modular structure was originally designed by Greg Cohen in the late 1970s to house a growing diamond-polishing business.
Adjaye Associates' reinvention of the building will offer a new residential tower that will contribute to the regeneration and transformation of of Johannesburg's CBD as part of the Maboneng development.
Hallmark House will accommodate expansive residential apartments, an all-suite luxury hotel, and a mix of health, wellness and leisure facilities. The project aspires to merge art, design, culture, and architecture to appeal to a variety of human needs.
