Who’s the Smarty? The Thermostat!

1 MIN READ

Adjusting the temperature with just a tap from your smartphone is old news at this point. Smart tech is on the rise, and the new thermostat from Schneider Electric adds all of the expected functionality and more.

Connecting homeowners and utility providers, Wiser Air is a thermostat that hopes to reduce energy waste through quick communication. Homeowners can opt-in and allow their utility companies to perform energy audits and discover where energy is being lost, all while communicating directly within the thermostat’s app.

“Wiser Air’s engagement platform connects utilities and residents with real-time interaction and two-way messaging. Homeowners have the ability to opt in or out of demand-response events and can view verified energy usage information, including how their home compares to others in the neighborhood.”

Head on over to Builder to read Laura McNulty’s full account of all of Wiser Air’s features.
