Wetland System Reuses Water

The Living Machine from Worrell Water Technologies is a decentralized, on-site ecological wastewater treatment and reuse system. It recycles water through a combination of tanks, control systems, and complex ecosystems to remove nitrogen and other chemicals. The cleansed water then is used for landscape irrigation, toilet flushing, industrial processes, and washing equipment. With a footprint no larger than a traditional wastewater treatment system, the Living Machine offers the energy efficiency of conventionally constructed wetlands plus low methane emissions.
