USGBC Fact Checks USA Today

Following the posting of USA Today‘s second part of a series of articles on the USGBC and the LEED green-building rating system, USGBC has posted a second response of its own to the discussion. In a blog post, vice president of LEED technical development Brendan Owens fact checks USA Today writer Thomas Frank’s piece, which was the first of the newspaper’s package. Focusing on The Palazzo, the Las Vegas casino in the spotlight of Frank’s Oct. 24 article, Owens writes “I think the fact that we learned from this project and thousands like it is a strength, not a weakness.” Read the full blog post here.
