The Quietest Passive House

The Passive House craze is fueled by a drive for energy efficiency, but they are also some of the quietest residences too. Lloyd Alter at TreeHugger took a look at one passive house in New York that blocks out all surrounding noise of the bustling city. The noise is reduced due to air-tight seals around doors and windows. Check out the video below for a demonstration of the noise reduction power of a passive house.
