SpaceWise, Philips

Embedded with wireless controls, these LED luminaires facilitate lighting in open-plan offices.

Open floor plans are growing in their share of today’s office layouts, but they can be difficult to light using occupancy sensors because the technology is designed for smaller rooms. SpaceWise from Philips uses LED luminaires individually embedded with wireless occupancy sensors that brighten when a person enters a workstation and dim when he or she leaves to limit unnecessary energy consumption. The system also provides automatic daylight harvesting through sensors that dim if they detect ambient light from windows. usa.lighting.philips.com
