Andalay AC solar panels generally are installed on south-facing rooftops or in a backyard area. The AC output from the panels is wired to a home’s electrical service panel via a dedicated 240 VAC branch circuit. When direct sunlight hits the panels, their built-in micro-inverters produce AC power synchronized to the utility’s grid.
