VaproShield ReNewShield

ReNewShield is a vapor-permeable air-barrier membrane manufactured by VaproShield that is made of post-consumer material—including 70% recycled plastic bottles—and is completely recyclable. For every square foot, the air-barrier membrane uses slightly more than two 10oz. recycled plastic water or soda bottles; the average five-story building could prevent 70,500 bottles from entering the waste stream. ReNewShield is ICC-ES AC 38 water-resistive and ASTM E-84 Class A fire-rated. When used as an air barrier, it reduces air flow in and out of a building envelope by up to 95%. vaproshield.com
