Thermafiber is a light density, formaldehyde-free, mineral wool batt insulation product for fire protection and sound abatement in interior wall, floor, and ceiling assemblies. The insulation comes standard with a length of 48″, and in six widths: 15″, 16″, 17″, 23″, 24″, and 25″. Batts are available in a range of thicknesses from 1.5″ to 7″, and have an NRC rating of up to 1.20, depending on the thickness.
