As its name suggests, Milliken’s Textured Sky collection of modular carpet tiles aims to bring colors and patterns of the sky into interior spaces. The solution-dyed carpet tiles are made with a high-performance, type 6 nylon fiber—manufactured by Bristol, Va.–based Universal Fibers—which tops a PVC-free, open-cell, cushion backing. Textured Sky is available in 19.5″-square and 10″-by-39″ planks, in three designs and 20 colorways. It is offered in tufted, textured, or tip shear loop options. The new product line is NSF140 Platinum–certified and carries Environmental and Health Product Declarations and the Declare transparency label; it also complies with the Living Building Challenge’s Red List imperative. Made with 39.3% recycled content. milliken.com
