Surfaces Inc.’s Murano Collection

hand-cut glass strands yield endless combinations

Miami-based Surfaces Inc. found a way to get the age-old look of Venetian blown glass to the mass market. The Murano collection of glass wall tiles is handmade and the offerings are plenty—its individual glass strands are cut and fused in combinations that yield 72 SKUs in nine colors and blends, shined or frosted finishes, and four sizes—2 inches by 2 inches; 4 inches by 4 inches; 2 inches by 6 inches; and 3 inches by 12 inches. Multiple sizes, colors, and finishes can be installed on the same project. Surfaces Inc., 305.372.9787; www.surfaces.net.
