STRAAM Real Time Dynamic Structural Monitoring

STRAAM’s Real Time Dynamic Structural Monitoring uses a building’s natural vibrations to asses its structural soundness, detect problems, and compare real-world building performance to that specified in the building model. It is suitable for both existing and new construction. In existing buildings, it can be used to assess the need for engineering services pre-remodeling, and baseline readings taken before a remodel can later be compared with post-construction outputs to ensure that engineering goals have been reached.
