Smartflower POP is the world’s first all-in-one solar solution that does not require an extensive installation. Firmly bolted to the ground or a concrete foundation at any location of choice, the solar system consists of several fan-like petals that span over 190 square feet. Achieving a degree of self-utilization of around 60%, smartflower POP is able to produce 40% more energy than traditional rooftop photovoltaic systems.

At sunrise, smartflower POP “wakes up” and automatically cleans itself in preparation of capturing solar energy. With flexible solar petals and dual-axis sun-tracking systems, smartflower POP automatically adjusts itself to stand at a perfect 90-degree angle toward the sun to maximize its energy harvesting potential. After finishing its work, smartflower automatically cool itself down to prevent heat build-up and contamination.

One smartflower POP system provides an annual amount of electricity ranging from 3,400 kWh to 6,200 kWh, depending on its location–enough for an average Central European household. Synchronized with smart home automation, smartflower is able to take homes off the grid by powering household and garden appliances. Excess electricity generated by the system could either go to the public network pro bono, or to an optional integrated battery to be stored for future use.

Boasting a plug-and-play and user-friendly feature, smartflower POP is delivered as an all-in-one complete system without complex assembly, and is operational within an hour of installation.
