RHEINZINK’s eponymous building material is made from 99 percent zinc and small amounts of copper and titanium, resulting in a product that’s both highly durable and attractive. SINGLE speed incorporated RHEINZINK in this project for those very reasons. “We’re interested in blurring the boundaries between inside and outside,” Hong says, “and using it on the interior added another layer of spatial interest.” The material comes in five gauges and two finishes.
