Lift Slide Doors by Louisville, Colo.–based Zola European Windows can meet Passive House Institute US standards. Available in sizes up to 20′ wide and 8′ tall—divided into two 10′-wide sliding glass panes—the doors have a thermally broken, low-threshold aluminum sill, and three window options with R-values ranging from R-5.5 to R-11. The double- or triple-pane glass may be framed in pine, meranti, or oak wood stained in one of 15 color options or painted in one of 300 colors; the wood may also be clad in aluminum.
