Teragren has added Portfolio Naturals, a line of four blends of wide-plank bamboo flooring, to its Portfolio Strand Bamboo Floating Floor collection. The solid flooring is manufactured using strand construction, which intertwines shredded bamboo fibers with a pressure-treated base to form a high-density product. The result is 154% harder than red oak and 125% harder than North American maple, according to the company. The 1/2″-by-5″-by-72-1/2″ flooring pieces interlock without requiring adhesives. The new Portfolio Naturals colors, including Hewn Tawny (shown), increase the number of colors in the collection to 14. teragren.com
