National Gypsum’s Gold Bond brand High Strength Fire-Shield Lite 30 panels are 30% lighter than standard 5/8″-thick, Type X gypsum board. Both faces of the wallboard have a recycled-paper facer printed with guide marks to help workers identify fastening patterns and lines for stud and joist framing. Available in 8′ to 12′ lengths, the 4′-wide panels are approved for single or multilayer drywall construction for 30-minute, fire-rated or non-rated assemblies. They are Greenguard Children & Schools Certified for indoor air quality. nationalgypsum.com
