Perplex Bench, Nienkämper
Designed by Canadian industrial design group Fig40 for Toronto-based Nienkämper, this minimalist, sculptural lounge seating is cast with a versatile, fiber-reinforced concrete mix called Ductal. Strengthened using Grip Metal—a new reinforcing methodology that eliminates the need for reinforcement molds or bars—Perplex’s 10′- or 14′-long surface top is gently sloped to prevent water from pooling in outdoor applications, and sits on two 16″-tall, powdercoated, cast-aluminum legs. nienkamper.com
