Opus Roof Blanket Weathers Cape Cod

1 MIN READ

Jim Bennette, owner and president of J. Bennette Roofing Inc., Pembroke, Mass., covers metro Boston, South Shore and Cape Cod regions. Last year, his team employed the Opus Roof Blanket underlayment on several of their projects. “Many of our roofing projects are coastal applications and are in demanding environments with exceedingly high winds and horizontal wind-driven rains that simulate a power washer hitting your building,” he explains. The roof blanket proved to be a reliable solution and adhered well throughout the Nor’easters, high winds and other severe weather patterns.

Opus Roof Blanket can be used in place of felt paper and plastic sheeting underlayment under all types of steep-slope roofing materials, including metal. It lays flat and covers large sections quickly while providing traction to ensure workers’ safety. Rolls are 42 inches wide and 229 feet long.
