new sconces bring direct and indirect light inside and out

1 MIN READ

New sconces from Flos boast subtle designs that add direct and indirect light to indoor and outdoor living spaces. Designed by Antonio Citterio, the hourglass-shaped Clessidra shines diffused light in two directions from its outdoor and indoor models—two of each variety—that have a black, bronze, white, or chrome finish, including a chrome-plated indoor version and a painted outdoor version. The light features high-efficiency lenses and non-dimmable LED bulbs. Hide, an indirect wall lamp from Philippe Starck, is designed for indoor use with an aluminum frame available in black or white finishes. Optional enhancer trims offer versions with color, wood, metal, or image backgrounds. The Light Spring wall-mounted, indirect LED fixture’s diffuser connects to the body via a nickel-plated neodymium magnet and each head can be rotated 45 degrees on its vertical axis. Tight Light by Piero Lissoni is made from extruded aluminum and offers direct and indirect light for indoor use. Long Light, also by Lissoni, sheds indirect light in a painted or extruded aluminum body. Flos, 800.939.3567; www.flosusa.com.
