Venture Lighting has created a new company called Microsun to market decorative luminaires lamped with metal halide. The brass, leather-wrapped and porcelain (shown) table and floor lamps take a Microsun Light Bulb, as well as two 25W incandescents. Separate switches allow the user to operate the luminaire employing the incandescents alone, or with the metal halide lamp for a brighter, whiter light that consumes only 68 watts.
