MBCI Double-Lok Hi-Thermal Clip

MBCI’s Double-Lok Hi-Thermal Clip is designed to hold together fiberglass insulation and thermal spacers to facilitate compliance with energy efficiency code requirements. Designed for the company’s Double-Lok panel as well as a new rake support angle and three new eave plates, the clip holds the panel two inches above the purlin or joist. The two-inch space will allow for up to 6 inches of fiberglass insulation with a one-inch-thick thermal spacer or up to 12 inches of fiberglass insulations without a thermal spacer. The clip is designed to help roofs meet U-Values of 0.065 while avoiding roof bowing or over-compression of the fiberglass. The clip is only available for MBCI’s Double-Lok panel.
