Herman Miller Sayl Chair

Mike Morgan

The Yves Béhar–designed Sayl Chair is one of Herman Miller’s newest task chairs. Its signature feature is a Y-frame back covered in a 3D elastomer suspension mesh (available in eight colors) that accommodates full range of motion. Tension in the backing material is greater in transition areas, as in the thoracic-to-lumbar area. Sayl is also available in upholstered and side-chair variations. Last month, it won the International Design Awards Product Design of the Year award for 2010. hermanmiller.com
