ECO Supply Center Introduces Composite Cork

Smarter Choices for the Future.

ECO Supply compresses 100 percent postindustrial recycled cork pulp with a polyurethane binder, water, and oil to create Suberra, a composite surfacing material that’s dense enough to be used for countertops and for work surfaces in light-duty areas. The manufacturer claims the resulting material is naturally antimicrobial and water-, heat-, and insect-resistant. Slabs measure 1¼ inches thick, 25 inches wide, and 36 inches long.
