Cree Launches New LED Bulb Portfolio

Twenty-five new LED bulbs give consumers more lighting options.

1 MIN READ

Earlier this fall, LED lighting company Cree, launched a new LED bulb portfolio for consumers. Consisting of 25 new products, the entire portfolio has been reimagined to “reset expectations” says Al Safarikas, director of marketing at Cree. “We’re committed to LED; products should fulfill that promise.”

The lamps (bulbs) include A-, BR-, PAR, and candelabra types in addition to a new series of recessed downlight retrofit lamp options. “It’s about offering better light quality, better dimming, better lifetime, better warranty, and better pricing,” says Safarikas. To that end, the lamps have a projected lifetime of more than 22 years (32 in some cases), improved color rendering, and smoother, quieter dimming to as low as one percent. The candelabra lamp features Cree’s “Candlelight Dimming,” which mimics a candle flame’s 1800K color temperature. The lamp portfolio is available for purchase at Home Depots across the United States.
