As part of the collection of customizable and eco-friendly wallpapers by San Francisco–based artist Laura Jo, Chatty features hand-painted patterns printed on PVC-free, FSC- and Greenguard-certified paper using low-VOC ink. The pre-pasted wallpaper can be applied by soaking the rolls in water. Each roll measures 24″ wide by 30″ tall and weighs about 2 pounds. Offered in azurite blue (shown) and graphite gray colorways. Ayda Ayoubi is a former assistant editor of products and technology for ARCHITECT. She holds master degrees in urban ecological planning from Norwegian University of Science and Technology and in world heritage studies from Brandenburg University of Technology. In the past, she interned with UN-Habitat's New York liaison office and the International Centre for the Study of the Preservation and Restoration of Cultural Property in Rome.
