CalStar Products’ permeable pavers

This line of permeable pavers is the latest in the company’s collection of sustainably manufactured masonry. Designed to manage stormwater, the pavers incorporate 40 percent post-industrial recycled material as the binder and avoid the energy-intensive kiln firing required for clay pavers. Available in eight colors and measuring 5 inches by 10 inches, the pavers use 50 percent to 85 percent less energy and generate 85 percent less CO2.
