Designed for commercial buildings, Animeo IP uses sun-tracking technology to automate motorized solar shading. A combined hardware–software device that uses Internet Protocol (IP) and the Somfy Digital Network, the system is scalable and allows for expansion, and the line includes building controllers, subcontrollers, and weather stations. Virtual keypads can be accessed by occupants for personal control over nearby shades. The sun-tracking feature uses real-time input from the system’s sun and temperature sensors, and logs of past temperature and light readings can be generated.
