You would expect to find high-design products and offerings that promise to solve problems at a show geared toward architects, and that’s what we found at the 2011 American Institute of Architects’ (AIA) annual convention.
Taking place last week at the Ernest N. Morial Convention Center in New Orleans, La., the AIA 2011 Design Exposition mostly featured products geared toward firms doing commercial and institutional work, but we managed to find some cool products that you could easily incorporate into a custom single-family home or a multifamily project.
