Agave Series, Kornegay Design

Agave series_HERO(600)

Artist Larry Kornegay has designed everything from architectural signage to theme parks. In 1997, he founded Kornegay Design in Phoenix to craft products that celebrate his love of cast concrete and other materials as sculptural mediums. His appreciation for gardening and geographic proximity to the Sonoran Desert led to the design of landscape containers, including the Agave Series. The collection comprises three planters ranging in diameter from 24″ to 48″ and 13.5″ to 22.5″ in height. The studio hand casts its planters and receptacles from dense concrete made almost exclusively with local materials. kornegaydesign.com
