Next LEED v4 Public Comment Period Opens Oct. 2

The fifth public comment period for changes proposed to the LEED rating system will open on Oct. 2. Comments will be accepted until Dec. 2.


In June, the U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC) delayed the ballot vote on the updated rating system, formerly known as LEED 2012, to June 1, 2013, in response to public calls for more feedback. The system update was renamed LEED v4 and the delayed ballot vote and addition of a fifth public comment period was applauded by industry groups.
