Metl-Span has introduced the CFR Retro-Seam, an insulated metal standing seam roof panel that features the Roof Hugger sub-purlin system. The new system eliminates the need and cost of removing an existing roof. A light-gauge structural member is notched to span over the original roof’s ribs or corrugation, positioned directly over the building’s framing system.
