Herman Miller mines its design past to reintroduce textiles with a midcentury history.

As any follower of Mad Men can attest, the design and fashion of the middle of the last century is enjoying resurgence today. Herman Miller is taking advantage of its long history by offering re-editions of textile designs by its one-time director of design Alexander Girard. One example, Linomix, is made up of a seemingly random pattern. It is woven in a proprietary process, Climatex Lifecycle, which meets Cradle to Cradle Certified Gold criteria. hermanmiller.com
