Vode Lighting Expands New York Sales Team

Ian Coll has been appointed New York City region sales manager.

Sonoma, Calif.-based Vode Lighting has announced that it has expanded its New York City region sales team by appointing Ian Coll New York City region sales manager. Coll brings more than 20 years lighting industry experience to this new position.

“Vode leads the industry with unrivaled minimalist and architecturally conscious linear lighting systems that subtly enhance the environment in which they are installed. I’m thrilled to join the Vode family and be a part of this pioneering company,” said Coll, in a prepared statement. Prior to joining Vode, Coll has worked for several lighting manufacturers including Amerlux, where he was Director of International Sales, and Pinnacle Architectural Lighting, where he was Northeast Regional Sales Manager.

“There is a strong concentration of design, lighting and architecture firms headquartered in New York City. Many global companies have large offices in New York City too, making it a major hub for lighting design,” said Scott Yu, co-founder and chief creative officer at Vode. “With Ian running point in New York, Vode will be able to expand its global project portfolio and increase its East Coast presence.”

Neal Award for Best Media Brand (Overall Editorial Excellence).Prior to her entry into design journalism, Donoff worked in New York City architectural offices including FXFowle where she was part of the project teams for the Reuters Building at Three Times Square and the New York Times Headquarters. She is a graduate of Bates College in Lewiston, Me., and she earned her Master of Architecture degree from the School of Architecture at Washington University in St. Louis.
