Visual Comfort & Co. and Generation Brands Establish New Corporate identity

The two companies will now be part of the Visual Comfort Group.

In a January 3 press announcement, Visual Comfort & Co. and its lighting partners at Generations Brands announced the company’s new corporate identity as the Visual Comfort Group. The press release stated:

“The Visual Comfort Group will go to market with a simplified and focused collection of brands to include Visual Comfort & Co., Tech Lighting and Generation Lighting. Visual Comfort & Co., will continue, as it has in the past, to pursue its premium decorative lighting collections in collaboration with the industry’s most influential design talent. Tech Lighting will expand its product line to include the best of the LBL Lighting collection and launch its extensive assortment in the company’s significantly expanded showroom at the Dallas Market Center.

Generation Lighting has been created to unify the company’s strong offering of the industry’s best popular-priced lighting and fan collections, which includes: Show House Collection by Feiss, Home Solutions Collection by Sea Gull Lighting and the Monte Carlo Fan Collection.”

To relaunch the newly named Generation Lighting showroom at the Dallas Market Center, a ribbon cutting ceremony will take place at the center on Wednesday, January 17 at 8:30 a.m. CEO Andy Singer will be on hand as Visual Comfort Group debuts more than 350 new designs during the Lightovation show, which runs from Jan. 17 – 21.

Neal Award for Best Media Brand (Overall Editorial Excellence).Prior to her entry into design journalism, Donoff worked in New York City architectural offices including FXFowle where she was part of the project teams for the Reuters Building at Three Times Square and the New York Times Headquarters. She is a graduate of Bates College in Lewiston, Me., and she earned her Master of Architecture degree from the School of Architecture at Washington University in St. Louis.
