Sylvan R. Shemitz designs, the parent company of Elliptipar, has announced the launch of Tambient, a new division devoted to portable task/ambient light for open plan offices. With no lights in or on the ceiling, no pendants, and no troffers, the fixtures use less than .75 watts per square foot and can be purchased directly from the company’s comprehensive website.
