The U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) will host Transformations in Lighting, a solid-state lighting research and development workshop, from Jan. 29-31, 2008, at the Sheraton Atlanta Hotel in Atlanta. The workshop will provide a forum for lighting industry leaders, manufacturers, product developers, researchers, technology planners, lighting designers, trade associations, and others involved in the solid-state lighting industry to share insights and updates on technology advances and market opportunities.
