Philly Student Wins Luraline Design Competition

1 MIN READ

The winner of Luraline’s sixth-annual “It’s Your Light” student design competition is Philadelphia University architecture student Bryan Giroux for his entry, a sculpture of light called “Flux”. The wall-mounted LED fixture delivers controllable indirect light dispersion and a small amount of diffused direct lighting. The fixture illuminates the wall surface, which reflects the light into the room, serving to supplement general area lighting. “Flux” is designed to rotate on brackets, allowing clients to create different light angles and shapes on the wall. Luraline’s 2007/2008 student design competition, “Lighting of the Future,” will be open to Fall and Spring semester students with the winner chosen in June 2008.
