Martin Professional Appoints New Managers in U.S. and Europe

1 MIN READ

Martin Professional, a high-end architectural, entertainment, and commercial lighting manufacturer, has named Brad Hayes senior project manager of its new sales division. He will oversee projects across the U.S. and Canada, while working closely with the Martin Professional headquarters in Denmark. The founder of his own lighting and sound company, Hayes joined Martin in 2006 as a regional sales manager and product manager.

The company has also announced that Maarten Gossye will join the company as key account manager for Belgium and Luxembourg. An industrial engineer with a background in lighting and video products, Gossye previously oversaw customer service and product support for EVDV, Martin’s former distributor in Belgium. In his new role, he will manage his region’s installation and rental markets. He is based in Geraardsbergen, near Brussels.

In Spain the company has reorganized its distribution model, and will no longer work exclusively with longtime distributor Ecler. In a new arrangement, Martin will deal directly with selected top rental companies, with Ecler continuing to supply installers and system integrators. To facilitate the change, the companies have agreed that three top Ecler’s personnel–Eduard Baró, Fernando Moya and Eduard Muñoz–will join Martin Professional headquarters.

A third EMEA change sees industry veteran David Martin rejoin the company as key account manager for the U.K. Martin previously served the company as club sales manager, after which he founded his own lighting installation company. In his new role, he will focus his efforts on the television lighting sector.
