Cree has announced that Steve Kelley has been hired as executive vice president and chief operating officer. He will be responsible for business development, global manufacturing, technology, and administrative operations of the manufacturer. He had been at Texas Instruments for five years, leaving the company as vice president and general manager of the standard linear and logic group. He also worked with Philips Semiconductors in the past.
