Lights Out

The World Wildlife Fund is asking you to turn off the lights for one hour at 8:30 p.m. local time on Saturday, March 28. By participating in the “Earth Hour” event, you are helping make a “global statement of concern about climate change” in addition to demonstrating a commitment to finding solutions, according to the website earthhour.org. The goal is for 1 billion people to switch off their lights as part of a global vote. More than 2,800 cities and towns in 83 countries have pledged to participate in Earth Hour.
