Lighting manufacturers around the world are preparing for the biennial Light + Building tradeshow, which will be held in Frankfurt, Germany, from March 13 to 18. Products and technology on display will span decorative luminaires to retail lighting systems to the latest in LEDs, drivers, lamps, and more. Architectural Lighting checked in with a few manufacturers that will be exhibiting at the event to learn what products they’ll be showcasing. Here, we’re highlighting latest in components and fixtures from Erco to be on display at the show.

The German lighting manufacturer brings its Castor bollard (shown above), which is offered 31 1/2” and 35 7/16” heights and two light distributions. Its ring-shaped lens can be specified with either a 180-degree light spread for pathway applications or a 360-degree light spread for open areas. The company’s Dark Sky technology keeps light emission below the horizontal view plane.

The company will also showcase its Kona projectors, floodlights, and wallwashers (above) for the illumination of large buildings or objects requiring significant projection distances. A round, tapered housing offers a streamlined aesthetic and weather-resistant construction while a rotatable, tiltable mounting plate affords precision. In three sizes.
