DOE Webcast for Bright Tomorrow Lighting Prize

The Department of Energy (DOE) will host a webcast on Tuesday, Sept. 23, 2008, to provide an overview of the Bright Tomorrow Lighting Prize. The competition, established by Congress in the Energy Independence and Security Act of 2007, calls for super-efficient solid-state lighting products that will replace the 60W incandescent bulb and the PAR38 halogen reflector. The webcast is free, but space is limited. Registration is available at http://www.netl.doe.gov/ssl/webcast-lprize.html.
