The results of this competition to design a new streetlight for New York City have been announced. First place was awarded to Thomas Phifer and Partners, New York City whose team included lighting specialists Office for Visual Interaction, New York City; Second Place went to Skidmore Owings & Merrill, Chicago, IL; and Third Place was given to Atelier Imrey Culbert, New York City whose team included lighting consultant firm Tillotson Design Associates, New York City.
