Insulation Incorporates Recycled Content

Many of Knauf Insulation’s products now are made with Ecose technology, which converts rapidly renewable bio-based materials into an inert polymer for greater environmental sustainability. It does not contain phenol, formaldehyde, acrylics or artificial colors used to make traditional fiberglass insulation. Materials in the insulation include sand and at least 35 percent post-consumer recycled bottle glass. The insulation provides an acoustical barrier, is easy to handle and is thermally efficient.
