High-Performance Features Becoming More Common in Single-Family Homes?

A handful of sustainable features are now showing up in the typical single family home this year, according to the NAHB.

Notice something in the list above, which was compiled by the National Association of Home Buyers (NAHB)? Of the 18 home features most likely found in new home this year, nearly one third of them relate to a home’s performance. The list, which the NAHB released to celebrate New Homes Month in April, was compiled from a survey of builders across the country regarding what features they are most likely to include in a typical single-family home this year. Could this be a lasting trend? We hope so.
