Glass Panels Have Low-E Coating

Pittsburgh Corning has expanded its LightWise Architectural Systems to include energy-efficient glass-block panels. Each block features a low-E coated glass panel that filters out most solar energy, helping to lower heating and cooling costs. It has an insulating U-value of 0.34 unframed (0.38 framed) and is available in prefabricated, graffiti-resistant systems with a range of visibility and privacy options.
